I am Felix Nencu, born in 1984, and I am currently traveling with my wife and daughter.
When I was still studying chemistry at university, I started giving chemistry tutoring to high school students in 2006. I still do, with great pleasure and success. What I like best about it is explaining complicated things in a simple way. And to start with what someone already knows, not with what someone should know.
I became a chemistry teacher in 2012 and have been working at a VAVO since 2016, where I teach exam classes and started teaching mathematics. I also studied mathematics on weekends followed by postgraduate teacher training.
A VAVO is a school for students who have not managed to pass their final exams. As a result, they often don't see themselves passing their high school exams, ever. I have become very good at guiding students who lack self-confidence; at the end of the school year, they often go into the exam with confidence and still get their diplomas!
I also have my own company and use it to train students who suffer from fear of failure. Positivity and letting students experience success are my number 1 priority, and you will certainly benefit from that!
In my spare time, I enjoy kitesurfing, photography, hiking, and traveling the world with my family.
