My name is Amaya Solas and I am a very passionate, friendly, and high educated Spanish teacher.

I have a postgraduate in Spanish teaching as a foreign language and also I am a DELE examiner and trainer, I have as well Spanish teaching certificate to teach in secondary school. My level of English is very good and I am very successful in my work. I am always learning something new in order to search for new materials, methods, dynamics, etc. to introduce in my classes.

I worked for International House Madrid one of the most prestigious Spanish language academies in Madrid, I taught all levels, nationalities, backgrounds, and ages to important companies and organizations like NATO, Energizer, Instituto de Empresa Madrid, etc. I have very good referees and I am very successful because I use a communicative method, I am very innovative and adapt the class to the student’s needs and interests.

In my classes, I also like to teach cultural aspects (that I learned from my tour guiding and Spanish teaching experience in Latinoamerica) of Spanish-speaking countries. I think these cultural aspects are essential to learning a language with motivation because it makes language acquisition more rewarding. I am very responsible, educated, and polite but with a great sense of humor at the same time.
