With over 20 years of teaching students across the secondary age range, I have many years of successful experience teaching IB, A-Level, GCSE and IGCSE History, Economics and TOK both within the U.K. and overseas.
In addition, I have also privately tutored for many years both in person and online. I have developed a tutoring style based on open dialogue and relevance to create flexible individualized learning programmes using a range of learning techniques to suit the tutee. Regular constructive feedback from and to the tutee is essential to create a comfortable, honest and realistic learning environment.
I have moved to Taiwan with my family, where I remain a private online tutor. I continue to be an IBDP History Paper 2 Examiner and IA moderator, as well as an Edexcel History GCSE Examiner, providing useful and applicable examination techniques to pass on to my students.
