Hello in all languages. My name is Teacher Mary, originally from Philippines but I am now living in the western part of the world,specifically in this beautiful country France.
I used to love anime and cosplay but as I am now in the new level of my life, learning new skills has been making me excited , such as cooking and learning a new language.
Despite being an introvert , I also am appreciating life by going to different places and meeting new people from different cultures.My love for singing will forever stay and teaching English is something that I am always passionate about.
Inside the 10 years of teaching English, I have also taught IELTS Speaking preparation exams wherein I give simulation test then give some tips and feedbacks to students. After that, time to time we redo the weakness until the student gets better and better.
In teaching English, I analyze my students' weakness and appreciate their strength. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing them improve. There are also those who just wants to keep practicing their English, for this type of situation, I ask them questions that will allow them to keep talking and use the target language.
Conversation skills , I believe is not just about knowing the language but a skill that gives you confidence and power . It is something that change someone into a better person.
Overall, the type of teaching I do depends on my students' request.
As a language student myself ( I am currently self studying French) ,I appreciate my job more. I pretty much understand the sentiments of wanting and desiring to be able to speak well of the target language.
